So I’m new to both the site & the forum. But I’ve been on other similar sites and involved in this scene for a while.

I’d describe myself as not entirely new to all of this but also not anywhere near an expert either.

I’ve set out my profile a little better since first joining the site a few weeks ago. Always looking for feedback, comments and such.

I’m also open to chatting to other lads about their profiles, general behaviour on sites like this (especially towards women) and exchanging tips for what works and doesn’t work when arranging meet ups.

Ah thank you

I just try to be myself and present as such on any profiles I have up on sites like this... it’s better than putting a load of nonsense or appearing narcissistic I guess :p

Also just looked at your profile... wish I could say I’m shocked that there are guys on here who check their sent box and subsequently send abusive messages to women who delete without replying... I honestly think the entire sphere of sites like this will be much improved once men learn to ditch problematic, misogynistic and sexist behaviour towards women.

Yep, one of the many reasons I run my profile as I do. I've had abuse for politely saying no thanks, abuse for deleting a message without reply (when what I did was save all messages I was interested in replying to at a later date then bulk delete my inbox so to him, it showed as deleted) and random abuse totally unprovoked having had no previous contact. Some really sad people on here.

Not that it’s exactly the same thing but LGBTQi hook up and dating apps - especially Grindr - are notorious for being cesspools of abuse. I’ve had numerous guys deliberately make new accounts again and again just to send me messages with abuse because I said no to them. It’s not very nice at all. Though women seem to definitely face the brunt of such behaviour.

I actually feel sorry for people who hurl abuse from behind their computers. They must lead one sad little life that they feel the need to put others down to boost their clearly non existant egos. There are plenty more decent folk though thankfully.
