I didn’t put this on to be insulted, I have done weddings for friends and have albums that can be viewed, plus I’m not a professional it’s a hobby, plus my profile pictures were took by myself with a mobile phone a while back, so please don’t comment with insults it’s not nice and I have feelings, thanks

OP I am not commenting intending to insult you in any way so please don't take it that way.

Half of the men on fab claim to be photographers, either professional or keen amatuers like you.

They are all looking for models.

Many of them have some very creative and artistic photos on their profiles.

Even some of those who don't claim to be photographers have some fantastic photos on public display.

It may take more than you just saying you are a great photographer to get some interest.

Hopefully you will find what you are looking for but it may take a while.

OP I’m a semi pro photographer (in sport, not glamour) if you want a model there’s two ways to go about it. a) Have decent examples of your work available to view (no one is going to ask you for them) or b) pay £s for a professional model.

Not being cruel to you, just trying to give you some friendly advice.

As previously stated, try hiring one from an agency that way you will definitely find someone rather than posting on a swingers site.

I dabble in photography and it shows on my profile so does my hubby. If you can't show examples then sadly no one is going to believe you. Might have been easier if you said you'd like to start doing glamour shots and progress from being a wedding photographer. Ask how you can go about it.

You mention that your picture was taken with an iPhone and that’s the reason it’s bad; so were mine. In fact I know a few pro-photographers that only shoot iPhone for their personal stuff. A camera doesn’t make a togger, etc.

The wedding shots and other shoots you’ve done can be put into an online portfolio like Flickr or even Insta and then shared. You could even share other pictures that don’t feature people in direct messages on here.

I get numerous offers from PHOTOGRAPHERS who would love to take photos of me. Can't believe how many there are. I refuse politely as I believe it's just a load of tosh. I'm not saying you are but you must understand how women feel. I would never have my pic taken by a stranger. Sorry OP

Regardless of how genuine you may be, Fab probably isn’t the place to find people purely for modelling (I’m an experienced photographer too & have been shot down in the forums for seeking models in the past - possibly rightly so!). There are plenty of other sites which are helpful for sourcing amateur models for mutual creative collaborations. Perhaps you will find a more receptive audience there? Good luck with your project!

i went to a local class and online tutorials to learn some tips and then trial and error and i asked friends too.

sometimes money inst there for a professional model

You’ve got the right idea Leah. Getting a shoot with a girl that models professionally will do the guy wonders for learning.

F here could sort the lighting, set the camera and lens up, frame the shot and go and stand in the right place in the right way to look good, all from modelling experience.

There’s no way that would be happening for somebody off this site though, unless they’re commissioned by Victoria’s Secret, then we can talk!

As for a model; either pay for one or join a club which will get a model in for a group. In my experience, a “model” will be much more likely to positively respond to a personal approach and a portfolio of work rather than a crappy cock picture on a swingers site. Fuck you tosser, I only asked for a model, not all this shitthere are people in these forums who lurk and wait for opportuities to pounce and mock fun OP there called trolls these days , sadly they do exist but we have to learn to ignore them "
