Hi all - I've been struggling a lot here lately, in particular with a couple of no-shows and a couple of refusals to meet despite protracted message exchanges to the contrary.

Much as I hate to join the ranks of whingeing men, where am I going wrong?

Yes I'm married and realise that this will alienate me from most people, but the main issue I have is not lack of interest, but rather lack of the other person seeing it through to a meet, depsite the messaging suggesting otherwise...

Maybe last minute nerves. Seems to jabe happened a few times recently though and the common denominator is me, so either Ive just got unlucky, or am putting people off somehow. Im always polite in messages though and like to think I'm at least ok looking, at least compared to some of the blokes on here, yet who seem to have no trouble at all, even the married ones.

How clear do you make it that you’re married? I can see that it’s on your profile but some people might miss that initially. Do you also mention it in your messages? Could it be that they’re happy to chat initially but then when they cotton on that you’re attached they disappear?

Maybe they just think you will be too hard to meet if you can't make fairly definite plan's,family commitments etc

I'd say varying family commitments apply to a high percentage on here, if the forum is anything to go by.

Maybe women are being put off by the thought that you are married,they change their minds last minute. Don’t worry,keep trying you will find someone who will meet you or loads of women who don’t mind that you are
