Where am I going wrong,very hard for single fella my age to get started to meet people although new here I am not new to scene...where am I going wrong tho time?

Fab can be a soul destroying experience for blokes due to the massive disproportion of men to women and couples. The only way to be successful as an average bloke is to get ‘known’ on the site. Find ways through your profile, pictures, posts on the forum and conversations in the chat room to demonstrate your personality. There are those who will meet you if they find what you have to offer attractive but the supply far outweighs demand.

Find positive creative ways to be noticed...

Have posted a social event twice, meet at mine for coffee and chats and see where it leads,big trouble is only have free house day times as partner does not play, I played in Ireland when lived there, not played in UK for some time..made a amateur porn film in Ireland??...now 58... Not a young stud..but with age comes experience ??...thanks for your comments

I was more talking about organised socials where lots of people meet up in a pub or somewhere. Have a look in the meet requests forum or search meets.

To be honest I can't see many people too keen to meet at your house while your partners out but some might be willing.

You've been here only 2 weeks ad a single guy, that's almost nothing.

I would agree you should get out and about to socials and meet people that way, let them see the person you are not the "I'm a single guy and want to get laid" version of you.

A problem I notice from what you write is that you almost expect people to come to you, sadly as a single man you will have to work harder and make your way to socials but the rewards are there to be had if you persevere.

Thanks for comments,dont expect people to come to me just pointing out I have a safe place to meet even if just and coffee, in my old job I respected people and know no means no..nothing has changed there...

A coffee shop is a safer place to meet than a private residence. Ironically the only other thread you have posted in was to give advice to a single woman to meet in a public place!

Just as a pointer your two current ads both say 'see how it goes'. To me, that comes across as your hoping the sex will start before the coffee cup gets cold.

The reality is, as your probably aware, you are a single male on a site full of single men. Some people won't meet as your in a relationship, some won't meet because of your age and some won't meet simply because they don't fancy you. Brutal, but true.

Join in with the chatrooms and forums, let people see the man behind the profile. If you can, get to an organised social and mix with others. Alternatively try a club.
