"If it's any help... We get everything from the rubbish one-line messages to paragraphs and paragraphs of carefully written prose. One-liners are always deleted without further investigation. The long messages, while very sweet and appreciated, can be a waste of the writer's time if he isn't our type or isn't what we are looking for. So I would recommend... 1. Make sure you read and understand the profile of who you want to contact. It's amazing (and insulting) how many blokes simply look at our pics and message us without reading our profile. If they did they might see why they are not suitable. They might also see why they ARE suitable. 2. If all is still good after reading and digesting their profile, make your first message polite, interesting and keep in mind what you've read. Don't be afraid to say what you've noticed and what you like about their profile. Don't make this initial message too short or too long. The goal is to tickle their fancy and start a dialogue. If you've understood their profile and what they are after, play the part in your message. A bit like a job interview ![]() ![]() | |||
