I don't even trust some who have verifications so to me it makes no difference. Everyone uses the site differently, some prefer the forums and banter. Some maybe joined and didn't use the site properly for a while.

Lots of other things to consider too

On my single profile,I was stood up only once and he was well verified.

I dont think veries are always a measure of someone being genuine.

The verifications make very little difference to me, including if they have any or not and when their last one was.

Verifications to me are just somebody's opinion, and as my opinions offer differ to many other peoples, in so many ways, I don't particularly think I would necessarily agree with everything somebody else wrote in the verification.

I verify them as best I can for myself.

There are several female profiles in my area that have no meeting-verifications (and no photo-verification and no pics) despite being on here for over a year.

Do I trust them? Well, no, but what does that lack-of-trust mean exactly? If there was something that caught my attention, I would have messaged them ages ago, unless they've recently moved into the area. My expectations would be low, but why not message and find out? But if they just seem "average", I generally don't bother.

I don't "distrust them" to the extent that I'd assume them to be serial killers or kidney-harvesters (they might be cock-pic collectors, but I don't send those). If I got a response, I'd be prepared to arrange a social meet in neutral territory.

Some may lie and meet others but tell people dont bother leaving veries who they have met recent .i trust nobody but myself .

Having recent verifications make a huge difference. I find that meeting active swingers pays off better than people who only dabble every now and then.

I think this is much better, I would be happier with people who have recently met rather than people with very old undisplayed veris, found one over 6 years ago today.

We'd be more cautious than with someone with recent veris from other well verified Fabbers but there may be legit reasons so we wouldn't automatically rule them out.

We use the verifications as a guideline but use a pretty well tried and tested system of our own to work out who is genuine and who is not.

I put my veris up for a couple of days then hide them. The ones shown arnt my most recent. If found in my 2 years on the site verifications mean bugger all. I take people as I find them x

If they haven't met anybody despite being here a year, I'd wonder what has suddenly changed to make them want to meet now. There might be some reasonable explanation but the balance of probabilities is that they wont be meeting, as either a 'fake' or dreamer.

In a year anyone who is actually serious about meeting can get verified.

Personally, I'd stick to verified members. Or arrange to meet them at a club as there is no great loss if they no-show.

You may have not been on the site for a while?

Personally rather meet someone with no or very little verifications than someone that has loads. Why? Someone with loads just tells me a little about who that person is and I don't want it hahaha

It's nice to know the person you are planning to meet is genuine but you can easily be verified if you have more than 1 profile....We've had so many fakers messaging us, I feel for the single women who get hundreds of messages a day.

Veris mean everything and nothing. If we were interested we would probably still arrange to meet. We haven't been here so long that we "know it all" but have learned to trust our instincts. So far we have never been let down.
