Been on here for some time, not had a decent conversation yet, yet alone meet anybody or visit any clubs. Seems like woman only want to meet people who have been verified, yet I can't meet anybody to do that (Catch 22).

Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.

Get yourself to an organised social meet, usually plenty in the meets and events section. You can get several veris in one hit then. Good luck
