Expressing interest in a club

HI All,

We are new here.

Just a quick one (which may appear silly). How to express interest in a couple in a club??

It feels just too awkward to go to talk to a woman while her man is sitting next to her.We know that those things are expected in swingers club. But just feels very awkward. Any thoughts?

Don't worry ... its not in any way awkward ... its just great fun. Just remember that they are there to meet people as well, and possibly they are nervous too. Just walk up, say hello with a great smile ... and take it from there. Its what I do as a single guy ... and I've had very few rejections. So, try it. Good luck.

Well, the content of your question, gives you the answer.

You are a couple going to talk to a couple.

You then say talking to a lady while her man is sat there. Both of you should be engaging with both of them. If you are only focussing on one person, it won't work in chat or play.

Just make sure you are friendly and involve all four of you, relax and see where it leads.

What if your a single lady? My worst fear would be sitting myself all night. That's if I had plucked up the courage to go in the first place.

It should feel awkward talking to a woman who is part of a couple. You talk to 'The Couple'. Both of them! In fact it is downright rude to ignore the make half. Think how you would feel if I came up to you and ignored one of you.

That's a different dymamic. But you'll not be left sat alone, there are plenty of friendly people who will chat to you without any expectation or pressure.

Mixed nights maybe better for you hun. But you may find that you have to do the approaching as some single men are afraid to approach for fear of being seen as pushy.

Couples and single fem nights are a strange one, as often couples say they want single fems yet again don't approach but stick to other couples.

I would expect it to be easier for a single lady, when the first nerves have gone. I am trying to imagine what it might be like for a single guy; I haven't been to a club myself and keep thinking it would be fun.
