FabSwingers.com forum: Advice for the new(ish) guy

Hey,

Been on and off with this site, started to lose interest but recently came back on cause I missed it, pretty standard!

Now; I'm looking to start going to parties, and clubs as it seems to be a bit of a nightmare getting meets (It's impossible for me to accom) I was wondering what's the general gist to a party/club, I don't want to be over eager and put people off that way, at the same time I don't wanna be that guy stood in the corner not talking to anyone.

Anyone that's been before and knows the crack?

Parties are generally invite only so could be difficult..

Clubs.. have a look at the ones in your area. Pick one you like the look of and give them a call.

Ah I see,

That I will do, but as a complete newbie to this what's the etiquette? Do I just stand in a corner and wait to be spoken too? Or am I expected to network and treat it like a normal bar sort of thing?

Defo don't stand in a corner.

Approach people.. keep yourself mingling. And don't ignore the male half of couples
