Well the last thread got too big so start afresh. Who rides bikes and also swing? Now the days are getting colder and less bike related stuff happening, this means more time for going to clubs (our fave is Pleasures in Kent) and enjoying our other party play time.

Think the bike might be tucked up for winter. Although hopefully get a chance to get out on it.

So now it's time to find people to keep me warm instead

Have fun. Could be a bit chilly but invigorating.

I was out on my 1989 Suzuki rgv250 at oulton park on Wednesday for a Trackday. Got murdered on the straights but caught up again in the twisties. Great fun but think that will be the last ride for me this year

Was going to take bike down town yesterday. Got all wrapped up. Unlocked bike. Key in ignition. Dead battery due to knocking heated grips on when I parked it up last weekend.

Was thinking of using batteries from Dee's toy

I don't ride anymore due to having had a severe accident with a car that wasn't looking... Bit when I did it was a Vespa... Not a bike I know, but it was in all weathers and all p er the country. Loved the whole scooter scene.. Never combined it with swinging though....

"ummm bikers are bikers.. all year round ..

Oh god not this one again

Does that mean that because we don't swing ever day or every week even we aren't swingers anymore either?

Lol being a biker is about a passion for riding motorcycles and most others don't care if that is all day every day or if it is once a year when the stars align and your kids are away, your work is done, you have no DIY and the sun is shining.

Part time biker is still a biker.

LOL.... now maybe I should add if you haven't done the Iron Butt nor biked outside of Europe or even been on the road for more than a month then you're just part time too...... what total b#llsh*t. ... If you have a passion for biking and can only get out on occasions you're still a biker.... its a way of life in thought and in deed. Sorry I had to reply to that one.... oh and yes I did my Iron Butt 2 yrs ago and I've biked through Europe and into Africa both on my Africa Twin and the Taffy Dakar..... I won't go on road in the ice though........some do and hats off to them. If you ride a bike you're a biker. If you meet 50 times on fab or haven't yet but have a profile then you're a fabber.... just some have different experiences than others.

According to some, above , that doesn't make you a biker. UNLESS of course you ride for a minimum of 2 hous every day, and don't ever change your jeans

We both ride. I build some quite extreme bikes (road legal turbo + nitrous) There not ideal for cold, wet roads so no riding but more time to build and modify.

I have always had bikes even before I could drive a car

started with a TF100 (suzuki farm based bike in africa)

tried most of the radged 2 strokes.

curently have a yzf600r and something i am really enjoying riding a cagiva raptor 125 ( 24hp 2 stroke screamer)

best thing i bought for the bike has been a HD helmet cam and you would be amazed at the crap i have on video from car drivers

Newent, Birmingham, Bristol, London & Watford

I have a Honda NC30 (VFR400), a classic pocket rocket and suits me!

It's tucked up in the garage now. Took it to Donington for the classic bike show back in August. Fun weekend including a few laps of the track.

Wellingborough

Honda Pan European 1100.

Most definitely not tucked up in the garage as I don't drive.

Many layers of thermals and heated grips.
