I have been on here for a while met some great guys but really struggling to meet or even talk to females and couples. Can anyone suggest anything different I can do to get in contact with people?

Haven't you already posted similar in the forums? The best way to start out is going to a club. But you already have a couple of veris so do what you did to chat to them!!
