How do I get reply from message

Every message I put hi how are you or sometimes I put have you been to any clubs and still get no reply what am I doing wrong

The sheer amount of 'hi, how are you messages' bore the living day lights out of most ladies.

Try to be a tad more original than that.

You've got one chance to make that all important first impression through with your first message. 'Hi, how are you' is wasting it.

Totally agree, in fact to the point it irritates me now. "Hi how are you?" - Its a shite opener from someone I've never met or don't know. I'd go as far to say as I'd prefer "fancy a fuck?" - at least it's honest!

What answers are there to it?? - "yeah ok thanks" - great... So now 2 messages in and still no idea about each other - what's next? Fancy a fuck?... You're just delaying the inevitable. Or we could reply "I'm Aweful, I caught one of my genital warts in my zip earlier and now I've got blood all over my underwear and have a meet in 10 mins"

Neither is going well in my book and most people know this, so don't bother. Why ask? You don't care - I'm a stranger on the web. I could be a lovely person or a horrible twat.

Write what you want - the person will either relate to it or not, and thus a reply will follow or not.

As the poster above said - you're just wasting your chance with "hi how are you?"

And remember you may be perfect for someone. The timing just may be off.

Just keep plugging away, be creative and stay positive. And whatever you do don't start a thread about it....

Try reading their profile and leading with something that's mentioned in there. Common interest sparks interest in my eyes

I always read Profiles and make my messages relevant and mildly cheeky or funny or with a joke and complimentary though not overly so, always polite and considerate and never pushy.. Sent hundreds and still get very little in the way of replies. It's really just down to the fact there is thousands of perfect tanned toned sex gods on here and the odds are hugely stacked against shall we say more 'normal' regular guys..

You just have to be extremely patient. It's surprise many really nice guys just get bored and leave. Stick it out I'm telling myself!! Lol

We find it quite irritating getting messages from random guys saying 'how are you?' What are we supposed to that? 'Fine thanks' I suppose? But if a complete stranger just reached out of the blue and asks us if we've been to any clubs recently, I'd think 'I don't know who you are, so that's none of your business'. We haven't had that specific question but many men ask us what we are up to, or if we've been having having, and to be quite honest it's very intrusive when you don't know who some is.

Does it really matter what people write. Isn't a message just a 'Hi, look at me I'm interested' and a reply 'yeah, I might be too'. I write the sort of messages women 'recommend' on here but mostly they never get read and they mostly don't look at my profile either (although I appreciate they may be in secret mode). Don't women just look at the pictures, decide if it's worth looking at the profile and the message is just a introduction....?

Speaking for myself, I can't speak for anyone else, I'm a lot more inclined to reply to a witty message. I don't get irritated by the " Hi. How are you?" messages. I'm just completely indifferent to them, and my eyes are already scanning the next message. When I do see part of a message that I like the look of, I tap onto the profile. Look at the pictures, and read their whole profile. If my interest is piqued, only then do I open the message, and the conversation begins.... And yes, I am one of the women in secret mode

I understand why you operate in secret mode and I'm not criticising or telling you what you should do, but I wish women wouldn't. At least if I see a woman has looked I know she's made conscious decision not to reply rather than just missed the message amongst the thousands of others...

I understand why you operate in secret mode and I'm not criticising or telling you what you should do, but I wish women wouldn't. At least if I see a woman has looked I know she's made conscious decision not to reply rather than just missed the message amongst the thousands of others..."

Haha very true. But sometimes I like to go on a little hunt, perusing profiles at random. If i switch off secret mode, I then find my inbox full of " Thank you for viewing my profile" messages haha.
