After a pretty good start, I'm finding it difficult to even get anyone to talk to me, let alone meet.

My emails are polite and non pushy, and I probably can't change my looks, so perhaps it's my profile.

Thankyou. The stern selfie shot was my fight back to selfies! There are so many bad selfies, I finally decided I needed to take a pro selfie.

I'm not really grumpy, but I'll look into sorting it.

It is alright but there is nothing there that would make me think that I would want to meet you. It is rather too generic. Without an explanation, stating that you cannot accommodate will lead people to assume that you are attached, which will put many people off.
