Do you think a guy can go OTT with pictures on here? What would be the ideal amount. Think I have got a bit carried away.

Don't think it's too many, perhaps add some more variety as several are almost identical (essentially the same pose from the same angle).

Depends what the pics are like.. i seen a profile where there was 23 public pics, all were of the guys groin area in various different boxers, it was like a catalogue for underwear
