is there actually a social in York? if so contact the organiser and get your name down....if you want to meet someone you have to contact them first and try and arrange something

If there really is a social event planned.....get the details, get along and talk to people THERE. Ask them to verify you....simples.

Or go to a club....?

Or talk to people on fab and arrange to meet someone...socially is fine!
