Hi all,

I've not been on here long and am having a pretty good time, but a bit dumbfounded as to what to put into my profile text, so I've taken most of it out.

I've had a quick look through the forums here and found conflicting advise on how to arrange the description and what to put on there, so I'm in a bit of pickle at the moment.

Any suggestions/ideas?

Thanks.

Only you know what you are here for and what you are like. They are a good place to start.

Hi,

All done. How does it look?

"Hi,

Not bad but please get rid of the capital letters. They are annoying.

There is no need to state that you hate time wasters. Get rid of the "I don't bite" line - it appears on hundreds of profiles and is very tired.

Don't do complete CVS or autobiography or people will skip it. A few good paragraphs suffice. I think mine is too long so I will shorten it soon. Also nobody wants to read about your dating history either!

Don't be negative and avoid strong language as this can put some folk off
