just about everyone compliments our pics, so we tend take it as a reason for men we don't find attractive to get us to message them back saying thanks. that's often why these type of message get ignored.

as for being polite, carry on with that. at least you won't be pissing people off if they are not interested in you.

Clubs are a great start to get meets with couples and females once you get more verifications you will find it easier to have private meets. Only thing i would say is you dont need to say how straight you are, thou i understand thats very normal for a new guy to the scene to feel the need to say. Red goes through massive dry spells on his single profile sometimes so maybe your just having one of them. Rosie x

Well guys you could be fighting a loosing battle peeing up a stick with so many guys that let others down three guys attending our party Saturday non turned up and couple years ago 15 out of 16 no shows

Would seriously recommend you try a club, you have La Chambre on your door step, you will find people there who will chat with you and you may even end up having some fun. A lot of people will not meet from just getting a message and seeing pictures on a profile, at a club you get the chance to see the person for real, chat with them face to face and then you can make up your mind if you fancy them. Imagine if I arrange to meet you for the evening g in a hotel, I get there and you turn out to be not my cup of tea, where do we go from here ???? Very awkward, and prob night wasted. In a club if this happens, then just move on, talk to someone else, still enjoy the evening. This goes both ways too lol

We get messed about constantly, it's not just the single guys this happens to!

As most on here have stated, we tend to stick with clubs and parties now.

The fact people have turned up proves to us they are looking for some degree of fun.

No shows happen with everyone on here, I've had a few. My main problem is trying to work out the fake women profiles to the real ones lol. Not only that but do you actually realise just how many men message the minute a woman goes online? It's a lot. I used to poliety reply until then men got abusive, so unfortunately I am one of the women who scan through to see who / what jumps out & I delete the rest..... Sorry hehe

Yes I totally agree, clubs are always good, we have had our first experience with a single guy in a hotel, however we met him at a club first, single guys do struggle, we was looking for a guy so my partner could have her first DVP and all the guys was up for it till it come down to it, the single girls get criticised for being let downs but a lot of the guys are too

Tats and beards are like marmite to women. The ones who like them, absolutely fucking love them. The ones who don't, can't stand them. There is no middle ground, especially with beards. I've yet to see a profile that says, "I don't mind beards, but I don't mind clean shaven either", or words to that effect.

As for compliments to pictures, I'd personally leave that until you've had a reply. In a first message it can make you seem needy/desperate which is obviously an instant flap shutter...

On the plus side, you're tall and have clear face pics which will always earn you points.

And that's my two pence on the matter...

I know how you feel man.

The problem with my area is it seems most of the women want either black guys or over the top muscular guys. One profile even says she doesn't like tall men so being 6' 2 I lost my one advantage lol.

I've stopped messaging people now as it's pretty pointless and I'm taking a more casual approach to this. I log on every now and then and browse profiles or the forum. I may not be getting meets but it's done wonders to my confidence! Lol

Anyway that's my advice. Play it casual if you get messages/meets great if not then it's not the end of the world.
