There is nothing wrong with an age range preference. The point was that blokes often leave the default age range unaltered by mistake. Since the OP has now altered the upper range to 60, that seems to have been the case.

Firstly, you might get more responses by starting your own thread instead of hijacking the OPs' and secondly, you've written more words in your post than you have your profile. Try writing a proper profile.
