In answer to the op though, it's not impossible to find a relationship on here, plenty have including myself.

it's no different to meeting someone in a bar or on another site or wherever.

Behind the fab profiles are just normal every day run of the mill people you see everywhere else

I certainly hope so, I'm not closed to finding love anywhere but if I found it on here, that would be ideal...an openminded individual with similar interests and views on sex as me would be great, be it male or female...filtered men out though and bi/gay women looking for the same thing are few and far between so I'm not holding my breath!

I'd say the 2 main issues with a relationship from this site are that you find someone who does not share when in a relationship. Yes they do exist!

The second is if you put it out there that you are after a relationship then it could lead some to use that in order to just get a meet.

You can find love but there is an element of it finding you as an above poster has already said.

It most certainly is possible..Billy and I met on here 3 years ago, spent a while just having lots of fun and then decided there was more to it, neither of us were looking, it just kinda happened

We met here around 6 years ago as singles.

Engaged for almost 3 years.

Cupid worked his magic and we are stronger than ever.

Although it's not the 'ideal' place to meet when your loved ones ask how we met. But it happened. It wasn't something we were not looking for at the time. But who chooses when love strikes.

Golden rules for us.

Be honest. And be honest some more.

We never meet our previous meets as singles.

People have found love in a supermarket and dirty nightclubs etc so I wouldn't of thought here would be classed as impossible. I met someone on here for quite awhile, I'd happily enter into a relationship with. I never planned those feelings because i had planned on the single life for good lol! You just never know. Yes OP, you can definitely find love on here, but finding and actively looking ate two different things. My partner and myself met 6 years ago, have lived together 4 1/2 share practically everything, so it does happen. We however were not looking and things grew the more we met up. We still meet others especially those we already knew previously - why not? They're just meets and/or close friends so we don't see why we have to cut them off if we have fun together.

The main danger is when people join swingsites actively seeking relationships but not to swing, yet their profile is vague or does not let on this fact.

As a guy I've seen many a single girl's profile with certain key words or phrases, or combinations of. After a while she eventually has her first meet, meets the same fellow a few more times, then the next phrase "Found what am looking for" goes up, soon followed by a couples profile.

A number of times the poor fellow thinks he can still meet on his own (not realising new rules are I play), she finds out and all hell brakes loose, they have a public falling out at a social and they split up with him branded the arsehole and left to pick and repair his damaged reputation.

But it's not all doom and gloom, that's just one of the examples I know of

Yes, you do have a chance of finding a serious relationship on fab. But avoid married guys - they are almost certainly just on fab for casual fun. From my experience many of my meets were with single.men who although their.profile suggested fun fun fun, would easily have been up for a deeper relationship had I been keen or we both clicked. I have met a few lonely guys who live on their own and by their own admission would love to meet someone special....also fab is free and match is not!

Whilst fabs may well not be the best place to find a serious relationship, it does happen. We are living proof. We met here almost 7 years ago and are engaged. It's not easy but it can happen.

I am not sure picking is the right word. Agree not the best place to actively look perhaps. But that is very different from luckily finding someone and then growing a relationship. The advantage being you both definitely know a particular interest that has no awkward 'how do I bring this up!!'

I'm not sure fab would be the best place to look for a serious relationship. Infact I think the whole looking for a serious relationship part might work against you.

Just meet up with people who tickle your fancy and let things move organically.

Like Jerry Hall did with Rupert Murdoch.

I've read one or two couples' profiles who say that they met through swinging, so yes it clearly can happen.
