Most of the profiles I've read ask for a clear face pic,no cocks pics because they know what one looks like

As long as I can see a face pic in a first message since it's an introduction and it's nice to have an idea who you are talking to (plus mine are visible) I don't mind if they are public or not

Face pics are not necessary ob the profile in public but sending one when you message is usually a good idea
