Is there something wrong with our profile? During wk we had a meet advertised on our profile looking for couples to meet at our hotel. Lots of single guys mailing they were free.

Is there something on our profile that don't interest cpls? If so what wld u suggest we do to get cpls interested?

You know that you can turn off the ability for men to message you at all?

As you say, "men, we will contact you". If and when you do want to contact men, you can, and they will be able to message back. But changing the setting will stop the hundreds of chancers!

As above poster says you would prob be better blocking single guys then you wont come up in thier search im sure alot dont actually read your profile to see the we will contact you bit personally i have read your profile and thats why i havent messaged you before

As above but also a lot of couples have family committments during weekday evenings with kids etc so that will definitely limit the number available to meet in hotels (not saying single men don't have these committments but it may be easier for them).

Also, did you contact anyone yourselves? Get chatting to people, create a list of people who you've talked to and found an attraction between the 4 of you.

Write notes on their profiles. What are their names? Can they meet weekdays/weekends?

When you have a date available, why not start by hitting up your list?

It's a bit erratic in it's layout/subject content but comments like "been on and off this site, etc." won't give many couples the confidence in taking the time to contact and chat with you.

When are you next planning to leave you see?

One other aspect is similar to statements we made when first on Fab, too may fixed statements that answered potential questions from couples . . thereby stopping the enquiries.

Just had a quick read, as a single fem, but I also have a couple profile on here. I would not meet because your profile doesn't say anything about the other couple you want to meet, phrases like 'Jill is the boss' may not fit well, and many sentences starting with we, etc .... I would take this to imply it was all about you guys and the other couple, or whomever else you are going to meet, fits around you. You are probably not like that, just the impression the profile gives.

I suspect that there is enough of a contradiction between a profile stating first meets are social and may lead to soft play and an advert asking to meet in a hotel room to put many people off

Brighton - even Hove!

The first sentence makes me think 'if you know how the site works, having been on and off, then why are you having problems?'

It reads like a list of rules designed to stop single men contacting you and as such shows you both on a less than favourable light. Consider making your profile more friendly and just block single men.
