Yes; sure does : lack a certain one hell of a lot :applies to the second poster too:

1. One line in write up. Hardly gets their interest; last time I looked, women had brains, they like those brains stimulated .

2. Knob shots: all you are doing is showing them a knob . We all ( blokes) have a knob ; women know what a knob looks like, by and large they aren't worried about that aspect ( at least to start.

You profile says nothing. We like to get a feel for compatibility..what do you like? Women get dozens of mails every day. You have to strike a chord....even me. I get 7 or 8 every day and we can't spend all day every day having sex.

Lol having said that, if you mailed me with more than "hi"

Or "how are you" but put more of you into it I'd definitely consider it.

Ok, lots of people are in the same boat when they sign up.

I suggest you think about what you want from the site and then set about getting it. So say what you're after and say what you have to offer. Join in some of the forum discussions in a good way, try and get to a social if there's one in your area and I'm afraid you will probably have to try and accept that you will have to be patient.

Nothing easy about this site but guys have to make a lot of effort and even after you befriend someone it doesn't mean anything ,so many other guys better looking funnier and sexier ,so a good approach is don't expect anything send well thought out messages based on woman or couples profile a bit of humour and a face pic ,oh and put some profile info they love to read profiles the ones that can read anyway

Would anyone expect to chat someone up in,say,a bar or nightclub by just standing around looking,admittedly,rather hot but being the strong silent type?

Maybe treat this as a similar thing,make some effort to chat people up. (There are plenty of people here who are quite willing to be chatted up,after all,,,shouldn't be too difficult).
