Have you considered going to a social to meet people for a chat and a drink? What about using the chat rooms to get to know some people

Hello and welcome to the forums!

Here is some advice. Take what you want, leave what you want.

Pictures: Try to have some good pictures with good variety in your public gallery. A face (if you can), a full body shot, and a bum pic usually go over well. You can keep a dick pic in private for those women who like to see that before meeting you. If you have a face pic, smile in it. Sad face pics don't tend to go over well. You look unhappy in your pics and you don't have a clear body shot.

Text: The text should reflect you and what you are looking for, along with what you can offer to a potential meet. Try to show your personality. A bit of fun and wit is often appreciated. Make it long enough to say something, but short enough that it will likely be read.

Not being able to accommodate or travel is going to hurt you.

If you are really interested in the scene and want a better chance of meeting people, try going to some socials and clubs. They are a great opportunity to meet people without relying just on your profile. Its up to you.

Messages: Don't use the scatter-gun approach to messages. I would recommend choosing a few people that you really like the look of and sending them each a tailored message. It does not have to be war and peace, but it should be friendly and directed at them specifically for the best results. Attach a face pic, even though you have one on your profile. Smile in the pic!

I hope this helps. Give it some time and effort and see how you get on.

-Courtney

Thanks for the advice I will try to update my profile as best as I can. As for the socials and club events I think i would be better off trying to get to know somebody first that I would be able to with as I do sometimes get nervous/shy at times as I'm only just trying to get into the scene

They were nervous and shy once too,,, didnt last or they were just pretending lol

Clubs and social events are good though, there will always be some random going round talking to people, trying to make them comfortable or not... and that person can sometimes be me

This.

Plus we started at clubs, not on fab. It is much easier to socialize and meet people that way. Especially for a single guy, many of whom have profiles that get passed over on here.

Just a thought.

Definitely, helps get the "process" started, with people knowing who you are and what you're like... oh getting that little green tick

Some things in life are bad

They can really make you mad

Other things just make you swear and curse.

When you're chewing on life's gristle

Don't grumble, give a whistle

And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...

Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten

There's something you've forgotten

And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.

When you're feeling in the dumps

Don't be silly chumps

Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...

Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd

And death's the final word

You must always face the curtain with a bow.

Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin

Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death

Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit

When you look at it

Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.

You'll see it's all a show

Keep 'em laughing as you go

Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...

Always look on the right side of life...

(Come on guys, cheer up!)

Always look on the bright side of life...

Always look on the bright side of life...

(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)

Always look on the bright side of life...

(I mean - what have you got to lose?)

(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.

What have you lost? Nothing!)

Always look on the right side of life...

How about a variety of photos? Your profile is lazy. I hope you didn't put hours of effort into it - try telling potential sexual partners a bit about yourself, what do you like, what can you offer, why pick you and not me? What are you good at - try and 'sell' yourself. Imagine you're an ice cream flavour - what is it about you that someone will choose in amongst the 1009 other flavours?

Courteney's advice is good, especially the pics. I looked at yours abd thought Facebook profile pics (sorry) but a variety and not in front of your bathroom mirror could help. Also what you can offer the older lady you are seeking, what do you like/dislike etc
