Basically...i get the general feeling that a lot of guys here message women and for those messages just to get ignored or deleted.

I don't copy n paste and i do understand that some guys do but how would YOU FEEL with YOUR time and effort wasted??

Thanks all and any hint n tips for better experiences for all on here will be appreciated

basically what everyone will tell you especially women is toughen up ,try a few fuck and go emporiums or clubs where you can pay money to maybe meet and get your leg over and socialise with like minded people or just be patient and tough it out with messages ,fine hone your profile and if you are attractive take great pics for us to perv at if not take pics selectively of your best attributes always keeping in mind this is a sex site and we've seen a million ugly hairy cocks ,think I coveted everything ,patience is the key

I reply to every message that has read my profile and meets my preferences.

I state in my profile that I won't reply to people who don't match my preferences as I simply don't have time. Therefore I don't feel rude not replying to people that I'm never going to meet anyway, as replying to them wastes their time as much as they have wasted mine by not reading what I'm looking for first.

How would YOU feel to open your inbox and see 200 messages waiting. You want breakfast and then you have to go to work. Then you have to come home and make dinner and maybe you have friends or family you want to see. And of course you have to sleep at some point. Do you really think i have the time to respond "no" to 190 messages?

I message guys first a lot, in fact I often block guys to cut down messages and go searching myself. I make sure I'm what the person is possibly looking for and attach a face pic with my message. I get more replies than ignored and deleted messages but it doesn't bother me in the slightest if I don't hear back. This site would drive you insane if it did, its supposed to be fun, not frustrate and anger you.

But it wouldn't be the other way round because I ( anna ) of the couple read people's profiles do much into detail in fact that I cross reference their veris to see what kind of people they've played with ....We get messages from single guys all the time saying " love what I've read in your profile " when they clearly haven't taken time to read it because if they had they wouldn't have wasted " their " time so it proves a point really !!!

But then again, how would you feel receiving 10-50+ messages a day from people who CLEARLY have not read your profile but STILL expect a reply?

We would reply to someone who had read our profile. For instance, if a white man messages us or my wife the message will be ignored as the profiles clearly say meeting black guys only. Similarly if a black guy messages us but his profile is mainly a rant about bi/gay guys he will also be ignored.

Some people waste their own time by not reading a person's profile. It only takes a few minutes to read a profile, have a quick look at any veris they may have to see what type of person they meet then craft a quick message based on something in their profile. Much better chance of getting a reply if this was done more often.

Why not simply block 100% of incoming messages.

E.g. Block everyone between the ages of 0 & 999.

As I understand it, you can still message them and they can message you back, but no first contact messages.

Problem solved... Your in the driving seat.

I get roughly a similar amount of work related emails per day.

As soon as I see the red badge it brings me down, so my filters are super tight and almost everyone goes to spam...

Now I have freed up an extra couple of hours per day!

I agree. I have literally applied every filter on here and hide my profile when I go offline. As I said earlier, I often block guys and do the searching myself. I rarely get any more than 5 to 10 messages a day and that's fine by me.

My time & effort is wasted when I get a message from someone who hasn't read my profile. All I ask for is a face pic attached to their message if they don't have any on their profile but 7/10 don't send one.

The thing you need to remember OP is the people that you are messaging are not asking you specifically to write to them in the first place, you are choosing to do that of your own accord, so if you're not what they want, for whatever reason, your message is unwanted and therefore they don't have to reply and it's essentially not rude to.

it's the same thing with junk mail that gets posted through your letter box every day, you don't want it, it ends up in the bin as I'm guessing you don't politely reply to the sender to say thanks but sorry I'm not interested
