Advice from the ladies please.........

Hi all,

Needing some advice from the ladies please.

I've been on here for a little over a year and hardly managed to get any meets in that time. Those i have met have become great friends socially way, which hopefully proves i'm a decent guy and my feedback from verifications would suggest i'm a non-selfish guy with standards who goes out of my way to please those ladies i meet - BUT i must be doing something wrong with my profile as despite sending nice messages i get hardly any replies, or views on my profile. Would appreciate hearing what you ladies think (please don't think this is a whinge! ). Thank you!

I can't see anything wrong with your profile apart from you only have one public pic. Perhaps change the one you have though as some women wont get involved with anyone in the forces. Your profile reads well and you come across as a nice guy. I'm not sure why you feel you are doing something wrong as you have 15 glowing verifications?!!

Not complaining as such - my meets are all from meeting socially at either a club (Chams Newport) through friends i already know, or from a party i attended. Don't have any issues once i'm introduced to people, but i get almost zero interest directly through my profile and messages, which i'm always respectful, genuine and hopefully a little informative in, without droning on and on. Thanks for replying!

I would probably pass by a profile with only one public pic. And I would definitely pass it by if the pic was a man in military uniform. Personal preference, but I don't think that belongs on a site like this (there are whole threads in the forums on this subject).

The text is good. Maybe a tad long for some, but I like it.

Although it might sound hypocritical in view of mine but I get switched off after an overly long profile. Definitely more pics needed.

I like playful messages if that helps. Like the others say it looks like you're doing ok anyway!

Which is pretty much the stock advice given when someone is struggling - go to clubs, socials and parties.

Get rid of the silly legal warning and ditch the military pictures. Say more about you and your preferences rather than trying to appeal to all.

If you want to keep pics 'private' because of work then that doesn't bother me, so long as i can see you have pics in the friends gallery and had sent a friends request for me to look. Or even better sent pics with your message.

Yes many of us are shallow and wanna see if we fancy you before replying.

The +quote link tells folk to which post you are replying. It becomes confusing if you do not use it.

That's a fair point too - always thought just sending photos with a message would be enough. x

Yeah i meant do either, just have pics so people can see them. In messages is better coz you can instantly look.
