FabSwingers.com forum: So what is the best way to get to know people

Hi ,I am a new member to this site and keen to meet new people with open minds. I am not looking to just turn up and have a shag , as i belive that for good times to be had there is a lot more to it than that. So what are the best ways to get involved with members . I dont like to be pushy, as i would like to make friends as well as have some good times . Do most members get to know each other in the chat rooms first, before sorting out meets. As you are a single guy and in the majority, you need to sell yourself with your profile, you havent done that. What are you looking for, your likes/dislikes, can you travel or accommodate, if not why not, a bit about yourself ie personality, i suggest you peruse other single guys profiles and see what they say. As to using chat, no idea as its not something i use

Thanks for that, i will do as you say and sell myself ( not easy to write about ones self ) The main problem is that i employ a few people so if anyone of them say my picture on here could make for some intresting conversations in the office i think. Once again thanks P

you dont have to display your face picture as your main picture, that could be a bum picture or something similar, the face one you can put as private and attached with messages

Using the forums and chatrooms is a very good way of getting to know people but going to swingers clubs and social events are even better.

Most social events are advertised in the EVENTS section, they are usually not sexual affairs just for meeting like minded people though often people go on to other venues (hotels etc) afterwards

Pictures can be held in private galleries to be sent only to people you feel you can trust after chatting to them by mail. msn etc.

Pictures don't have to identify you ie from the back or with face blotted out so that people get an idea of body shape, pics do help but are not essential, many people will meet without seeing pictures but that's more about your profile than what you personally do to get to know some new friends on the site.

A well formulated mail is a good way of making friend but probably not as fruitfull as the socials, chatroom and forums, you can put a mail together on a notepad then copy and paste it into the mails you send, that is for the general stuff about you and what your looking for but remember to personalize each mail after reading the recipitents profile.

Thanks for the good advice ,, I am keen to get some comments place on my profile to prove that i am a decent guy , with out a hidden plan.do these comments from other members make any difference ???

hi we are farely new to the site the hardest we found was making the first step espically putting up pictures. now we dont mind as its only on private gallary has our main pictures only friends can look at them. good luck u be great ok

yes we do we decided in the end we wanted people to see who we are. we are not ashamed of how we look and we dont care if people we know see us on this site. we are proud to be swinngers

Yes,I`m new to this site too!

Things are a little more complicated with me!

I`m girly, ok? But can only do Chams on Mondays(bi night),(not that I do)!

Really like to know what people/couples/singles think of me.

I suppose I`ll find out if I`m liked on Saturday,at Cannock.

Thanks for your advice , Had my first meet the other night . was shocked at how welcoming they were and i t went well apart from my nurves ... Do you get nurves when having ameet or is it just someting to get better with time ,,

Eh?

There are plenty of socials and organised parties at clubs etc. about IMHO, depending how far one is prepared to travel, of course.

There is the Cannock one tonight, and 2 parties at Chams on 05 and 12 Dec 10 respectively.

Check out the meetings and events forum and see if there are any others coming up.
