Newbie to the lifestyle

Hi all, I've been on the site a while now but have never managed to delve in to this scene before.

As a single guy I am finding it pretty difficult to get interest from most people but would definitely enjoy a decent chat from anyone who maybe has some friendly, helpful advice?

It won't come and fall at your feet, you have to do the legwork and put yourself out there.

Parties, social events and clubs are a good way to get yourself known. Admittedly, they're not for everyone and maybe a little intimidating but so is meeting someone 1-2-1 for the first time.

That's a good point, trouble is I usually have a lot on at the weekends and during the week I work pretty late.

It's difficult sorting out the logistics I guess.

Difficult but not impossible should be the attitude. There's always ways to overcome the hurdles if you want something bad enough

Maybe sorting out your priorities might be a good start.

You want more meets, yet the effort needed at the weekends which would involve going to clubs take low priority.

Please don't say you are like a lot of young single guys on here who expect offers of sex to fall at your feet with the bare minimum of effort?

To the OP....

I have found that it's NOT all about sex and getting as many conquests as possible, it's a lot more social than that, people are friendly, generally looking to chat and get to know one another, it's more like going to a friends house and having a few beers

Swinging is what you make it, for me it's a way of meeting people firstly, then if anything happens after then that's a bonus.

Excellent points made.

Swinging is a lifestyle, not just about casual sex.

Socialising is the key, however there seems a glut of single guys lately, some quite young, who think it is place to put up a couple of lines of a profile as an order list and expect loys and lots of sex.

This is Fabswingers, not Instantshag.com, but some seemed to get confused.
