This makes the genuine ones more likely to be successful surely. We look for single men and consider that the ones who have no intention of ever meeting throw the genuine ones into sharp relief.

Our experience is different but it does seem to be a popular opinion that the bad apples are spoiling the whole barrel. I'm not being argumentative but how have you found this out?

. It does not matter that it is saturated . It is a profile , pictures and attitude that sells yourself . You don't have to worry about other members profiles , it is up to you to market yourself effectively .

We couldnt agree with you more op,out of 152 profile views yesterday,all but one was from a cpl.You look at the meets section its all men, the updates section is all men,if it carries on going on like this it will be a male only site.Oh and if you fancy a club night etc its usually swarming with men there as well.

I find I have never had any problems. The "fakes" (or actually wannabes) are easy to spot.

OP does look the part to be fair.

Personally when I was on here as a single male I found that the crap ones do you a favour, it really isn't that difficult to stand out. I was once told by a single female that roughly 90% of unsolicited messages weren't worth replying to and of those 10% usually half of the second messages were enough to lose interest.

A half decent profile, decent pictures and a well crafted message makes you stand out from the crowd. But it's much easier to blame others

I suspect it depends what you're looking for. The vast majority of messages I get aren't suitable for what I'm looking for - I guess over 99.5%. But that's the same on any other dating site, slightly lower on the fetish sites I use.

Our cynicism levels have risen since joining here, what we felt were dead-cert genuine guys have let us down (mainly no-shows) but we have met some fantastic guys, so I'd concur with earlier viewpoint that the saturation level does make the genuinely impressive genuine ones stand out. Now I've said that, I bet neither of the guys we are meeting tomorrow or Weds will show up.... (they will!)
