Hi all,

I joined recently and quite new to to the swinging world. I'm going to attend a rather casual meet at a club tomorrow for the first time. This might betray my naivety, but I've a few questions.

I wonder if and what the etiquettes in the community are, when compared to normal social meet. For example, we'd exchange names, profession and other information upon meeting strangers in a social setup. Do fellow swingers see exchanging or asking such details at the first meet awkward/unwelcome? Do you exchange when meeting others for the first time? If not what else do you talk about? Weather?

Or do you go by aliases? Are there any codes or phrases that'd carry any special meaning?

Thanks in advance.

Hi my friend,

Welcome to the site... the etiquette is simple... respect...respect...respect... the golden rule.

Treat others that way and be yourself, and don't impose yourself.

Don't meet with the mindset you are going to get laid for sure... just meet people as if you were meeting a friend... if things progress further then cool if not at least you know more people.

That is the only pointer I have to share to be honest... others might have other good advice so do consider them...all the best bud

Cheers mate.

Absolutely! I'm a gentle soul I'm not taking this anything other than a friendly social meet, just because there's a prospect of getting laid.

People probably won't want to get to specific what they do and where they work or where they live, not initially or maybe never
