Hi there I registered here over a year ago and, well it's taken me till now, and a fairly hefty nudge from my ex who's appeared on here in the last few weeks, to try a little harder, but I'm finding older, single guys (well this one at least) have trouble breaking through. Any ideas?

had a look at your profile, you look fine to me, but maybe you need to start messaging more...you say you have needed a push, maybe the lack of effort is whats hindering you...just a suggestion. good luck

Precisely what I intend to do. As for the push, well have certainly had that from my friend. Lol,there is certainly no lack of effort now. But I do feel that sometimes blanket emailing does suggest my not being choosy. I will only genuinely message people who interest me. But aleady I have had more interaction by coming on the forums.

Its the same for us young guys as well, I think its just because the number of single men on here out numbers the single females by quite a lot.

But you stick at it and i'm sure you will get there
