I phoned a swingers club today and arranged to be put on the guest list for an event. Whilst chatting to the club owner, I asked if they would verify me as genuine on this site once we had met and had a chat. I'm new here, so need all the help I can get. I was told that they don't verify people because they don't play with them. I said surely it's about just verifying that someone is real. Right? I was told not.

What do people here reckon?

Personal preference. I don't verify anyone I meet. Sure though you'll meet others there who will verify you

If they verify you, they'll have to verify everyone who visits their club, which would obviously take up time.

Verifications are voluntary anyway, but don't worry as you'll get some from the club event.

Its not compulsory to verify everyone but if you're going to a club I'm sure they'll be someone to chat too who maybe wouldn't mind helping you out to get you started

The main point of verifications is to show you are genuine as in you exist. In this you are correct.

However when you go to verify a person you ARE asked to make a comment etc. regarding the meet. So it should come from a person you have spent time with...stating as a sivial meet . .. or someone you have had sex with etc... and may comment on that, akthogh some go a bit far!.

Read verifications on peoples profiles to get the idea.

go along anyway - as a few others have said, mingle a bit, and you will find at least one person who is on fab who can verify you

to be fair to the club, you could be the biggest cuntpot going outside their premises - they might be loathe to want to put their name to a one off verification. however, i am sure, if they were to know you as a regular, and an all round decent guy as far as they could tell, then things might be different

Perhaps it gave the club the impression you were only going to get verified?

As previously posted, there would be too much time spent verifying everyone that turned up. I'm sure they have better things to do!

I have met people that neither leave or want verifications, I've met people, more than once that verify every time, I've met people that verify on the first meet, but not for subsequent meets.

Different folks, different strokes'.

I wouldn't agree to verify someone before meeting them. For me, although it is to verify someone as genuine. I have politely refused to verify people if I've found them pushy, disrespectful etc. To be honest the club wouldn't know what you are like until you turn up.

We only have and give veri's for play meets .

Social / cam veris are like the worst possible thing for us lol !!!

Cam veris should not be allowed all it does is show face of someone and not if they are genuine etc.

Would actually get folk off arses and out and mingle instead of camming that being said I accept some may not be able to get out for various reasons and actually meet but in that case why the need to be verified.

No. Not yet. I'm on the guest list for an event. I asked if they would verify me once we had met. Obviously, as other people have said here, I will meet other people there who will.
