Hi im quite new to all this and was wondering how or what the best way of saying hello in a message is?? some of you say don't just say hello in a message then some of you say its not a dating site I don't want to know the ins and outs of your life......someone please help. Thanks....

There is no such thing as a perfect opening message, everyone is different and want different things. Most will read profiles before messages and if they dont like the look of a profile they will just delete the message without reading it

Put some personality into your message, acknowledge something that you've read in the persons profile. Tell them why they should meet you over the next guy and attach a face pic. It will benefit you to improve you profile too because most message recipients will check that out before deciding whether or not to just straight delete it or reply.

Personally we would answer any message that wasn't rude or pushy and that was written so we know they actually bothered to read our profile, even if it was to say no thank you.
