Hi, had a new profile on here a few weeks and just wanted to say hello. We've been swinging a few years, and had a profile on her before. However we've been on a 6 month break from the whole swinging scene. It still seems to be a bit of a meat market.

And how come all of a sudden nobody wants to private meets? It seems to be all clubs and parties, which we're not keen on.

Anyway, rant over, lol.

Private meets still happen, but tend to be arranged less publicly than the public meets.

Oddly, I don't mean that sarcastically!

if you arrange to meet at a club or party, if one couple doesn't turn up, the other couple's evening wont be totally messed up.

Well, yes, don't mean to sound funny here but we're well aware of these reasons. But sometimes we get the impression that people are saying 'we want a shag tonight so you's might not work out, so lets meet at the club'

You might sympathise with that attitude but it's not for us.

We've been swinging 5 years and have never ever not turned up on people!

We're not just keen on the idea of swinging clubs full stop, even the decent ones, and the only in the north east sounds crap to us (and it doesn't do couples only nights). Just our opinion!

So for people like us, being told 'lets meet at club so and so' all the time is a wee bit annoying. Just wondered if there were others who felt the same.

Ah well.
