I went 208 weeks (2 weeks off 5years), too many people were suggesting paying for it after about 3 months!!

I'd never pay for it, no matter how long it had been.

If I knew someone considering this then I'd just say to them go out and talk to folk at bars, online or wherever and just be a nice, respectful guy (all the time, not just to get laid). The more you do it the better you get. It isn't difficult. I'd even tag along so they had company
