I made a few friends on this site.

hell lot messages to and fro, some last minute cancellations.

Is that what happens normally?

looks to me other sites are good where I had lot of meets from them. Though this site looks to excellent on the first look, in reality is not that great.

I would it is best for timewasters and who made regular friends already.

Not to have a meet?

You obviously thought you could join the site and have a meet every day of the week...Sorry it doesnt work like that... Just because this is a swing site doesnt mean a woman is going to shag you just because you sent a message..

And yes cancellations do happen,couples/ladies have families,work ect people do have a life away from the site.

if you think a swingers site it dial a shag.... you are mistaken...

just because they like sex, doesn't mean they will have sex with just anyone....

in fact I find swingers to be more picky because they tend to know what they are after, and won't put up with anything....

let me tell you how long it took me to get my first meet.....

6 months...... ask others how long and I bet you would get comparable answers....

when it comes to meet nothing happens.

all i can say is that people are addicted to chat and messages.

there is no real interest in sex for many of the people.

it is one of the time pass site.

there is this thing that gets in the way sometimes... its called "real life"...

sometime people can't just drop everything to meet, sometimes people have work, or emergencies, or have to arrange childcare.. or a million and one other things....

so you talked to people for 1 week, then decided to declare them timewasters because you haven't got your legover???

what that shows me is that you are really impatient....

I have talked to people for months just because schedules don't always conform but when it gets round to meeting it makes for great meets because I took the time to get to know them....

you do get out what you put in.... it is true, if you are writing people off after a week you are not putting in much... sorry but it is true.....

people have given you advice in the thread... but it seems to be going in one ear and out the other......

if I look at my gmail, which I use to communicate with guys with off site, I see I had 23 email (!) with our first site-met single guy, over the course of a week, before meeting - not because I wasnt "sure" but because he made it interesting and appealing to want to chat.

Good lesson there, I think.

Of course there are timewasters here, it's a free site! We've all experienced them.

You've been fortunate to have received good advice from posters .. listen!

Alot of people read the forums and they remember ... whinging isn't a good look.

My advice is - don't wait 3 months, leave now. If you're that unhappy don't come back but if you do, use another profile and fgs don't moan or whinge (unless it's about the bankers, government or your gas bill) you'll have no fun! Give it more time next time!

1) you get a few good responses in first 2 weeks.

it is the same in my case. one lady is ready to meet however work and her children school is an issue.

she promised she will meet once this sorted out

2) big time wasters, exhcnged photos liked phots etc nothing moved.

they are additcted messages. you are online for hours together they want to send to and fro messages

3) some people wanted only verified profiles, they have thier own bad experience

I was not verified yet. this is big disadvantage.

4) hamster category. they dont say yes or no to any one. they are polite

give replies any junk messages. go nowhere like hamster.

by and large this site is not good for many (90%)

10% verified and had better started people has plenty on this site

I am going to delete my profile by next weekend.

I want to give a try 1 more week

not everyone want to do everything at breakneck speed! some people like to take there time, and if that involves chatting.... then good for them!!

for example, are you going into the chatroom so you can be varified by cam?

have you put your name down for any of the socials going on in and around the country to get yourself known???

the site does give you the tools to make it work for you..... if you decided not to use them? you can't blame everyone else for that...

Why don't you cut out any wasted time and on the initial mail ask the person are they into ping pong mails or do they like to just arrange a meet. then at least you will know where you stand.

There are people who don't like to mail for weeks before a meet, but, they still may not be able to meet as quick as you would like.

To your other point of people mailing for a week and then nothing, maybe they decided you wasn't for them at all.

Everyone has a choice of who they will meet, it isn't guarenteed that a meet will follow any mails.
