Any uni/college students here?

So out of interest are there any students on this? I'm in final year at university and haven't told any of my classmates/flatmates about fab/swinging.

Or any OU/Post Grads?

Hi! I'm a uni student (part time with the OU, and in full time employment). So my class mates certainly don't know I'm on here! It probably wouldn't be the sort of thing to bring up in conversation, given I only ever meet and chat with many of them online.

Although, it would probably make an interesting ice breaker! Imagine that; setting up a swinging meet on an OU tutor group forum lol. I'm sure that has to contravene all sorts of university policies and regulations!

I joined a similar site to this during uni to find some Cougars and milfs, it was good fun as it was something different to the d*unken nights with other students...even though they were fun

I was studying with the OU but left to start at a traditional university instead (I didn't feel that in my area the OU were really up to it). I'm in my second year at uni now and have just been accepted onto a Research Masters.

I don't see why I'd tell any of my classmates about swinging any more than I tell them about any other part of my sex life.

I have a 21 yr fuckbuddy friend from France who would love to meet uni students here who are into BDSM.

He is 80/20 into women/men

3 years ago he had done nothing and now he knows as much as I do, may be more!

If anyone wants to meet him, say hi in private. He plays at my place in London and we either play together or I see some amazing shows!

Absolutement!

(I don't actually study French.)

Science based, but more of the techy kind.

There's a few out & about though. Avoid mentioning to Uni mates as it'll easily spread. Pics are easy to see & there's a ton of people (more so guys, after girls) who would join just to message that person.

As a guy, I doubt many women would join just to see a guy. You lot are less desperate

I cannot imagine that for one minute. I'm sure there will be degree subjects that are more intensive than others, even if purely by the amount of information needed to be absorbed by the undergraduate.

They're all supposed to be an even playing field. You study for approximately 40 hours a week, a mix of contact time, bench time and reading time depending on the subject.

Ultimately what it comes down to is how good you are at applying yourself to a subject. I know that lots of my science friend recoil in horror at the idea of having to keep in my head a photographic image of hundreds of major artworks and buildings as well as the biographical information of the artists, information about prominent figures, social theories, general knowledge history and art historical methodologies. However I couldn't imagine doing their degrees either.

"What is classed as the hardest degree to undertake?"

I don't fully agree with Wasp, but my opinion is based a little more on fine details. Different degrees can definitely be harder than others. Contact hours do make a difference, too.

Of course, a lot is based on personal strengths but at different Universities the courses (and course quality) can vary a fair bit.

So yes, it's SUPPOSED to be an even playing field, but unlike GCSEs/A-Levels etc, each University writes/structures coursework and exams differently

I can see light at the end of the tunnel for the second year... talk about second year slump.

Just five more essays to hand in and an exam, and we'll be there for the summer.

Currently prepping for a field trip to Paris in ten days time, think I'd rather be at home focussing on my other modules though.

Did anyone else have a real slump in their second year? My grades were ace during the first year. Almost all 70+, one module I even got 80. Now it seems that I don't have the motivation to get anything like that.

Absolutely!

I'm at that stage where I'm tired already, prefer working... But still, over a year left yet.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I prefer working... After 12 years of work before I started university I'm planning to stay in the government funded system for as long as possible.

I find the idea of having a young intelligent Uni student as a "friend" for a year, very very sexy.

I would love spoil her in every way, as well as be her "rock" offer guidance & support.

In return I would hope that young spirit might rub off ! "can do" " life all ahead" attitude !

I don't think it's worth having a student section, really. For sure, members can speak amongst themselves and perhaps create a small group - but I think it's a lot of work for minimal benefit.

Although not necessarily for swinging, there are lot of websites and apps out there that cater younger meeting other people - probably best to keep it at that.

Can I ask you, how do you manage that? Interested because I'd quite like to do a degree (I was at university but dropped out to attend my current job as an apprentice and because I really didn't like the uni I was at). Would be good to hear from you about it. T x
