Hi I feel I could do with a bit of help. Finding it very hard to get anyplace, was thinking you guys could take a look at my profile and help me improve it?

Five weeks is nothing in fab single man terms. You will need a bit of patience and you could always try the time honoured suggestions of clubs and socials.
