Just wondering

Maybe this posting will sound a little cynical but the most part of being here for the past 3-4 years I've found it frustrating.

By the time you get through all the fakes and time wasters and actually talk with verified people, even they seem a little cagey. In chatrooms it sometimes feels like it's a very inclusive place "we don't loike strangers in 'ere...."

Maybe it's because I'm not on this site all the time, or because I'm not that outgoing - or end up working rubbish hours I don't get the chance to be around as much as I'd like.

Maybe it's because I've not got a pair of tits... ? See, that's the cynical side of me popping out - told ya it would.

I know you lot can be friendly, but I'm just not feeling it.

What advice can you give someone who's actually very nice, not a dick, and will talk to anyone

Its your profile do what you want with it.. Bare in mind there are 1000s of single males looking for the same as you...Make it stand out, You may ask for help but only YOU know what you want from this site.

Thing is you need to try and make your profile reflect your personality. You can rob bits from other peoples profiles but that won't be you.

Use the forum to get to know people rather than the chat rooms, that way you will also bypass most of the fakes. Good luck

The penny has been dropping about the chatrooms V forums. I think I can spot a fake off quite well, just get so bored I end up talking to them...

But yes I take your point about my profile. Although people said it wasn't positive - not really sure how to make it positive, yet keep it real

Your profile has a hell of a lot of requirements for people to meet. At the end of the day it's quite long and doesn't really tell us much about why we should message YOU more "WE need to do a, b, c and d, before we even think about saying hi" it's off putting. Sell yourself. Keep your requirements short and few. Literally one or two. If you get talking to someone and they turn out not to be for you just explain that.

In all honesty you are a single man round here, and unfortunately as there's so many of you, you don't have the luxury of making demands.

What I'm trying to say is make your profile fun, welcoming and inclusive!
