Only been in one pub (very briefly to sample a beer I wanted to try) in this month of December, not keen on these spiced winter ales that are about at this time of year, I dare say normal service will resume in the new year

Never met any real ale drinkers on fab but I do use them when I was drinking and was a acquired taste.Did a few real ale trails as well as a few overs over my time.

Mean eyed cat, crown posada, wobbly duck, the rat (anick), the county (gosforth), alum house (south shields) to name a few

Decent choices and I also like the Town mouse and Beer street but my favourite is The Microbus in Gateshead and Free Trade.
