I'm struggling for a good introduction when im wanting to talk to someone.

I unfortunately do the classic "hey how's it going" but I just don't know what to say

Any suggestions?

Perhaps you need to reference something from their profile as part of your introductory message? It may make your message stand out but it won't guarantee a reply.
