Getting a bit nervous now.

I'm supporting my eldest daughter and youngest daughter's boyfriend. Youngest daughter should have been doing it but she had to defer until next year.

South London

Sunday was my first ever marathon, it was tough conditions with the heat.

Wanted to go sub 4 hours but it became apparent early on that the heat and amount of runners to try and weave through would make the task extremely hard

Managed under 4hrs 30 and that was with a mini breakdown around 21 miles where I had to stop, stretch and really dig deep.

Still had loads in the tank for a good last 1km sprint

Raised nearly £4000 for charity which was the whole point of it

somewhere in kent

I ran Sunday. The best and worse day ever!

The heat got to me and my time was out the window.

I focused on finishing over the line and not in first aid.

Glad I have done it!

Great going mate weaving in and out is a big challenge especially with so many people in narrow parts hope the money raised really helps your charity to achieve their goal enjoy your day
