Hi,

I've been lurking on this site for a short while now seeing what's what, but now I've finally decided to come out and introduce myself and hopefully meet some people!

I am still quite new to this whole scene but I've already found it very hard to even get replies off people, and when I do there seems to be a problem with age! So has anyone got any tips for helping me my first meets?

There is no escaping your age will be a problem to some. But equally plenty won't have a problem so you might be better off focusing on those.

Your age probably isn't your main problem though, your profile doesn't really do much to make you stand out does it?

Pretty much as said by crystal wheels, those who're not matched with you would be a waste of your energy if you focused on them. There are plenty more fish in the sea, including other students like us.

As you'll no doubt know by now, it can be a tough time for some of you single guys, but tenacity and investment of your time/energy appropriately can pay off. Expecting everything from Fab is less realistic than using it as part of your swinging tool kit, so other avenues are great too. Aim to get to know others socially, as this can be fruitful, to help get into the right fun, as well as clubs, when appropriate.

Find some good friends on here, and use the message boards, so that you become more familiar, get some tips etc. Get your profile as top notch as possible, as you need to stand out from all the single fellas that are on. There are some incredible Fab people, so wishing you all the best with your exploration
