Yeah I think too much emphasis is placed on this. I think I'm just above average, but the rest of me is too as I'm quite tall.

I've always thought of myself as being average sized, at best, but I get told frequently it's larger than average, which I refuse to believe. I've seen enough cocks to know where mine stands in the line-up.

That's why I'm interested in finding out *how* measurement is done.

Measure the length along the top and it'll be shorter than measuring underneath. But then where do you decide which point underneath to measure from?

Then there is the visual length vs the physical length, which is to say when just standing naturally, what you can see vs what is actually felt when fucking. To know the true size of what is going to be enjoyed can, to varying degrees from person to person, require the measurement to include a degree of the shaft that could be concealed by a bit of recession and/or subdermal padding.

Which is to say visually it may only look like a 5 inches but on a decent pounding session it could feel like 8 inches.
