Hi guys/girls, fairly new here been browsing on & off for a while & just found the forums, tried to make "normal" friendly conversation but no one replies..

Starting to wonder if i'm doing something wrong or the sites full of dodgy/fakes as i'm not messaging like the typical overly horny/hungry weird guy..

I'm very respectful, patient, will listen & stick to boundaries, would actually like to get to know people & make friends but it's impossible if everyone assumes were all the same & difficult to get verified (I have read other posts) i'm not desperate by any means but again would be nice to talk & explore more, J

Your pic and profile seem quite decent so I guess it’s just a waiting game/socials/clubs/continuing on the forums. Good luck

Warks / Northants Border

This is my (Sean) opinion. But remember, opinions are subjective, so don't assume other people will be the same.

There is nothing wrong with your profile from what I can see. Which is probably why you don't have a vast number of replies on here. In contrast, there's nothing great about your profile either, but it would be difficult for some to convey in written down words how you can improve it.

Your profile is like a cheese sandwich. It does the job it's intended for, but doesn't really whet an appetite. If someone was to go in to a shop and find your cheese sandwich next to a ploughman's, guess which one they will choose!

Similar can be said about initial messages. We try to reply to everyone who sends a decent first message. Admittedly, it's usually a "No thanks". If we get a polite, no frills message, it might take a few days to reply because, I've probably found it boring and forgotten about it. A humorous message, even from someone who we're never going to meet, will get a quicker reply because I will remember their message..

If you consider that others don't even rely to memorable, humorous messages, what chance do polite, mundane messages have?
