LOL you have a lot of verifications so obviously getting some meets. Maybe its the Christmas holiday that has made it quiet, people tend to do family things and put the site on hold for a few weeks.

No not really that hard at all. Hard to find a decent conversation that doesn't stop when I say I can't meet for a couple of weeks, yes, I find that to be 100% true.

I prefer to get to know someone first, that way I am more relaxed in the bedroom. But maybe t is just me.

We think that clubs are becoming a lot more popular to meet people.

Safe secure surroundings, no pressure to play, and if you do not find anyone, it is still possible to have a "social" by chatting to others.

Could not agree more, we both like conversation and to find a connection with the other person, and as we do have lives outside of fab, we cannot meet at the drop of a hat!

Judging by the amount of mail I get I could probably meet twice a day. But wether I'd actually want to meet any of those people is another story altogether. 95% of my messages are from people that in no way meet any of my preferences x do have a few nice sounding ones in mind for when I am available again tho x

oh yes, definitely. So many timewasters on here. I've noticed Huddersfield is very sparse with so called 'swingers'. Surprises me how rude thay can be. They don't even reply with a polite 'no ta' At least if they did, we'd know not to contact them again.

Sometimes I think people should reevaluate their expectancy levels - that and if things aren't working out how they think they should - perhaps a bit of self reflection on themselves and their methods of approach and interaction?

I want to know why people say 'I've had enough of here, I'm going to try POF' Are thier PC's so slow they can omly manage to use one site at a time or maybe thier intelligence is so low that they would get confused using both!

I don't get that many meets from on here, but I use i to keep in touch with people I know or have met from other sites that I no longer use, also from club meets ETC. I also like to browse the forums and chat rooms, so it keeps me entertained at times.

I do chat to people on here, I have got friends on here and I have got verifications, so if I get meets fair enough, if not I still have a laugh.

If you don't think the site works for you, either have a look at why it isn't working or leave, not that hard a decision to make, moaning about it certainly won't increase your chance of meets!

I understand that you can't just expect to get a meet straight away or just say hi and get laid. BUT I kinda thought the idea of this was meeting like minded people for "fun". Nsa. I find it easier heading into town and picking up one nighters... But that's not what I'm after. I like on here the fact that it is just a bit of fun, no excuses to make in the morning or fake "ill call you" promises!

Im guessing from chats I've had with other members, most people find it hard to "crack the nut". Most members go for verified members but you can't get verified unless some one meets you....

I'm going to start by responding to the OP and name of the thread (though it has largely been covered):

Often the most rewarding results come as a result of a bit of hard work, so I don't see that as so much of a problem.

A mistake many people make on a site like this is to assume that the more direct and sexualised nature of the profiles means no effort should be required to get to that result.

As with a more 'traditional' dating website, personal standards and preferences exist so some people will need to try again and try harder (though not advisable with the same person if your initial effort hasn't been rewarded

And as with a lot of social situations, single guys overwhelm women and couples. Think of it like this, if a site existed exclusively for single women or couples, there would be even less on this one. The fact is, for a single man to make inroads, he has to stand out, and that could be from his photos, wit, sense of humour or simply by being polite and understanding to the fact that he is one of MANY messages and requests the person he has contacted has received.

And threads starting with 'it's so hard' and another one I've seen, asking what's wrong with that person aren't a good idea.

As legitimate as you may feel your concern or gripe is, who's to say the kind of person you're after isn't reading this? More often than not, it paints the person as a non-desirable.

I'm not by any means an expert on anything but I only comment of what I've seen and experienced.
