I find swimming helps with my back problems. If I don't swim regularly. I have to go to painkillers, ten's machine is good as well

I had an epidural steroid injection to help with the pain from a ruptured disc.

I had great results after a couple of days.

Similar for me. Prolapsed disc L5. Had the injection about 10 weeks ago and it’s worked a treat

Mine was L5 too. I’d rather give birth ten times over than go through that pain again.

Glad it helped you.

Had twice for L4/L5 caused more pain than it blocked

Ended up being fitted with spinal cord stimulator, never looked back

If your lucky will last you about 2 weeks and the more of them you have the less effective they become from my personal experience

Depends on loads of things - work well for some and not at all for others. One to discuss with your physio +/- neurosurgeon.

Yoga, I laughed at my GP when he prescribed it, but by god I’ve had zero back issues since then and that was 10 years ago. Not saying it’s going to fix everyone’s back complaints but it certainly worked for me. Even now if I miss a week or two, I can feel my back starting to tighten up again.

I had one a few years ago. It worked for a while but wore off after a couple of weeks. Depends on your injury but physio, stretching and other exercises work for me to manage it.
