Mount Pleasant

Posterior chain mobility stretches. To loosen up tight muscles and loosen up tight joints too.

I recommend a good chiropractor. My back has been transformed from seeing mine as and when necessary.

Put the electric blanket on full and lay in bed and let the heat soak through and relax all your back muscles , I’m a manual worker and it works for me many times

Ok. You need to take professional advice really. Trying things that internet people suggest could make it worse. If possible have a word with your GP and ask for referral to a physio. In the meantime pain killers and gentle exercise eg walking

, totally agree as it's not a reversible cause and can be made worse

Your GP will refer you to a physio, a telephone consult with GP will be fine and medication to alleviate any pain and/or inflammation.

If you find the wait unacceptable, then around £50 is about the going rate for a private physio consultation..

My husband said it was the best £50 he has ever paid but it took an awful lot of exercise to sort it out.

Take professional advice, not social media advice.

Good luck.

Ah right I understand.

You could try a tens machine for that too.
