If you're doubting it I'd figure out why and if it's something you can't get passed then don't do it.

Seems to me if your want to do it you need to at least get her approval. Explain things to her and see where it goes. Afterall do you want to be in a relationship where you can't be yourself or not supported in your sexuality and desires?
