According to one of my recent respondents on here my profile hints that I’m able to place my salient body parts far inside my derrière…….or words to that effect (a little more agricultural).

Am I coming across aloof or am I being too choosy? I thought I was just being selective and don’t wish to ‘lower’ my sights.

Constructive feedback always welcome.

Thanks Al

People usually say that sort of thing because they feel your preferences exclude them.

I think your profile is good. It gives a good indication of who you are, what you bring to the table and what you'd like your potential meets to bring.

I didn't answer the question. It doesn't come across as aloof to me.

Do you get positive responses from the people you'd like to meet?

Not aloof at all, no. There are a couple of sentences that come across as self-pitying, but other than that it seems a decent bio.

I think the part upon your mother and your expectations of replies, could be off-putting to many. It takes a fair bit of space, which you would probably be better off, if creating something else.

The only part I feel a bit entitled is demanding a reply to a message. Site rules state no reply is a no thank you.

The main reason I don't reply to everyone is if I decide at any point to change my filters everyone I have already messaged even to just say no thank you can bypass said filter. I therefore don't reply if I'm not interested. I like to keep my filter option intact.

Hi A & L.

Many thanks for the feedback. As Mods you must peruse a large number of profiles; to know mine is ok is positive.

Responses: varied if I get them. I don’t send many and they’re always individually crafted. However, I suspect like most chaps on here I do suffer from the ‘delete - no reply’ button. I live in hope. Al x

Hi Juliette. Thanks for the feedback from the ‘other side’. I’ll take a look. Al x
