Need advice for a fab returnee?

Hi everyone,

Back after a very long break counted in years, not weeks!

It's been tough. Not much interest from anybody yet but I appreciate I'm a very small fish in an ocean of dicks, figuratively and literally!

I'm struggling to even get people to view my profile right now.

Anybody prepared to part with some advice on how to improve my profile/and or general approach?

You have only been on 3 weeks…

What were your expectations rejoining?

For most people it takes time on here. I suggest going to a social and get out there

Can take some people years now to meet someone. You have been in a few weeks. Maybe go to an organised social or a club

Thanks for the advice guys

To be honest I wasn't expecting a meet yet at all, more advice on how to approach people to actually look at my profile as thats more what I'm struggling with.

Expectations aren't massively high at this stage, I just recall speaking to people being a bit easier first time round.

Read profiles. Personalise your message to fit the person you messaging.

Go to socials.

Attend clubs.

Better. Overall, a good profile. We're maybe in the minority, though we don't like dicks in profile pics and could do without them being sent to us in messages, we do like to see one tasteful on in the public pics just so we can see it's not awful. Maybe put the previous profile pic in your public, as it wasn't a bad pic.

I shall do exactly that and thank you for taking the time to have a look, much appreciated! As for the club's, good to know there is a demand for single guys, it's just about building up the courage to go alone

Shame you're so far south as you seem like a nice bloke. We're making an effort to get to VA more often (there tomorrow afternoon) but it's a bit of a trek for you.

I appreciate the nice words, thank you! Never say never. I'd feel way more confident visiting a club with somebody then attempting it on my own, even if it meant I had a bit of a drive. You e got to try these things right??

op tha only thing that has changed in the last few years is the explosion of men joining therefore the site is harder than ever for guys
